Monitoring Project Categories
A number of agencies, groups and individuals have been involved in monitoring the physical and biological aspects of the aquatic environment in the Sandy River Basin. Many of these efforts have been targeted at very specific questions. Some have been coordinated to address multiple aspects of larger issues. All are available to act as guides to future monitoring efforts, research, and management decisions.

Click on a monitoring category below to see a list of reaches where some form of that type of monitoring has occurred. Clicking on a reach name will then take you to a page where you can find a description of the monitoring projects and data summaries, reports, or other products.

Physical Monitoring:
Follows changes over time in the physical make-up of the aquatic environment.

Biological Monitoring:
Follows changes over time in aspects of the organisms and their populations or communities inhabiting or adjacent to the aquatic environment.
